Just to let anyone know, but I'm going to be away for a day or two. I have caught a rather nasty bug, and I have a migraine as well. When I get to feeling better I will be back, until then I will be resting up. |

That day or two away has expanded somewhat, although not due to illness this time but for personal reasons. I will be back sometime next week and I probably will not be able to get online to check my accounts until then. If you need me please feel free to make a post or send a message, but I cannot promise to respond until around the middle of next week (if all goes well, if it is longer I will let everyone know).

I am still here, just not posting right now. I am thinking on subjects to post on, and if anyone has any ideas on how to further spread the "word" about Atenism, then please speak up (I would love to hear anyone's opinion on any subject). I don't know if I will post this weekend, but I plan to post sometime during the coming week. |

Em Hotep, I have spent a great deal of time thinking on what to post and what needs to be done in regards to helping rebuild and renew Atenism, and I feel like I'm being gently pushed to do some writing. It will be on Atenism and Atenist worship and practices, and I will not post it until it is done. If it is as long as I think it may be, I will probably publish it to my website with a link to it posted somewhere on the forums. I will continue to stop by the forums, usually on a daily basis, to check for any posts and to possibly post a little myself (although most of my time will be taken up with this project). |

I have to admit that I have two problems I constantly work to overcome: over thinking on a project, and procrastinating. Right now I have combined both, as I really haven't started writing yet. I have spent a great deal of time thinking on what I want to write about and what to include. If all goes well I will start writing soon. I will say that I have been slowed by continuing health issues, which includes another visit to the ER. With any luck my doctor can figure out what is going on. I have to say the ER doctor didn't impress me, as he refused to actually listen to what I was telling him and only listened to what he wanted to hear and ignored that this has happened before. A bit off topic, but I really wonder about medical professionals sometimes. I went with my mother to a lot of doctors visits, and I must say I am amazed at how often a doctor ignores what they don't want to see because it doesn't agree with what they think might be wrong. (It took four doctors to find out what was up with my mom. The first three all disagreed with each other, ordering test after test. The fourth simply asked her where the pain was and what had happened and then ordered another series of x-rays which proved what was up.) Sorry, I just find far too many doctors need to be sick themselves every once and a while. |

I have been getting online once a day, for anyone who feels the desire to contact me for anything. I just wanted to say that I don't know how often I will be online in the near future, as my migraines are really starting to take a toll on me right now. (I am having upwards of six a month, and they tend to be pretty bad.) I will be online once a day to maybe post and I will check my e-mail and the forum at least once a day. |

While I have been checking for messages, posts, or e-mails, I have not been posting. The reason for this is that I am going through a time of contemplation and I have been looking at myself and my beliefs. I have not come to any conclusions yet, but I am considering taking down my website. |

I think I will leave the website up for a time, but not for too long. I will not beat around the bush and will simply state that I will be leaving the forums. I am taking a good look at myself and what I believe and I now know that I need to change. I won't be leaving today or tomorrow, but I will be leaving soon. It is not that I do not believe in Atenism or its future, as I believe that Atenism can have a bright and wonderful future. It is not that I have lost faith, as my faith is as strong as it always has been. It is simply that I have been examining what I believe and who I am. It is time that I work to fix my problems, and to make some choices that I have been putting off. For a week or so I will remain checking messages and maybe even making a post or two. I may remain longer, but I do doubt it. (Especially since I am planning on spending some solitary time in yet some more contemplation.) |
