hey eveyone. Im new to this forum and to Atenism in general.

but after reading up on what Aten, Akhetaten, and gneral polytheism and monotheism in general I decided Atenism was the right faith for me.

Im from Brisbane Australia. I doubt there are any (if any worshipers of the the Aten here) but you never know.

Hi bendy,

I'm also new to the forum, but have been reading the site for a long time before joining. It really doesn't seem very active here, honestly, but there are very few Atenist sites out there. I know of only a couple, really. While not an Atenist myself (though I am an interested party, and curious to read what actual Atenists have to say),I have been a member of various Kemetic religious groups for many years, and have studied a lot about the Amarna Period,as it's my favorite,so am not entirely a stranger to the ideas. Welcome, and I hope that more people post in time!

Quite welcome! (I haven't quite mastered the "quote" or icons buttons on this forum yet, every forum's different.I'll have to practice again,LOL. bendy, your name sounds familiar to me, I've seen that name recently - are you by any chance registered on the House of Netjer (Kemetic Orthodox) boards? There's a new member name "bendy" there. (I was a distance member of that Temple for 5 years as a Divined Remetj before leaving in 2011.) Though not a member anymore,I can still read the public (not private) sides of the forum, so that's where I saw the name.

Just curious - Kemeticism is kinda a small community,LOL!
