I've gotten price rates from a place here in Nashville on printing off a small book about Atenism so that I can give them to all my friends and family and leave them on the tables and pass them out at some of the music gigs I play sometimes. Please send me any relevant articles, what its about, rituals and anything else that should be added to this. This summer, I am performing at an event I am calling the Sed Festival, the "highlight" will be a 50-hour world record marathon performance of "The History Of Music" - a songlist from the 1700s to about the year 2000, which I will be doing in honor and dedication to Akhenaten and Atenism. Lets put it together and get the word out there to a larger number. Aten Forever! |

I have been rehearsing and 'training' for this marathon event for over a year now and I'm planning the event to be done this summer, ideally at Coleman Park. The songlist will cover the history of music, the earliest song 'Greensleeves' from the 1600s up to about 2000 with some Oasis songs. facebook.com/cs2010 In 2003 I was in a band called Dragon Cult that set a world record by playing for 32 hours but that record was beaten a few months later with 40, then a band did 50 hours a couple years ago. I don't think I'll have any luck in finding other musicians to play the marathon at this length so I'm developing it on my own as a solo act, and the goal is to learn and play as many songs as possible, and hopefully reach the 50 hour mark. The history of music. The rules state that each song must be at least 2 minutes, no more than 30 seconds between each song, with a 15-minute break every 8 hours. |
