Hi everyone, I just read a book called The Civilization of Ancient Egypt by Paul Johnson. It reminded me of Akhenaten and his great city. The author didn't put a very positive historical spin on it, but the wonderful ideas behind Atenism were still able to shine through. I'm glad to know there's still some Atenists around, maybe I'll even decide to be one. I would definitely like to see some of the hymns, sculpting, and other practices come back. I'm happy I found this forum. |
