Em hotep, Atenism is the world’s first monotheistic religion in the truest sense of the word. In fact I will tell you that Atenism is the ONLY monotheistic religion in existence. What do I mean by that? Well as we know Jews, Christians and Muslims believe not only in God, but in angels and demons as well as Satan. Atenists have no such otherworldly beings but God alone. God is to be worshipped as our creator and sustainer of life. God also answers our prayers just like in the other religions but only if we have faith in God and in His power. So prayer plays a big and important role in Atenism. As for what happens when we die, there are some who believe in reincarnation of souls or perhaps an afterlife in paradise or even a return to God to become a part of His being. God has a plan for all of us; especially for those who praise His name and know the TRUTH. Meryre |
