There are those who will call what I am typing "New Agey" or Eastern BS, but so be it. Dismissing something makes it no less true. I often like to just sit and listen to the song that is nature, to enjoy an uplifting book or movie. I let it carry me, and strengthen the connection between me and Aten. He is there within all of us, with us at all times and in all places. Never does He leave us, and never are we alone. It is that connection that I think best begins what some call enlightenment. It is that feeling of connection that awakens us to a new realization, and that leads us to release from destructive ways. I seek out that connection as much as I can, nurture it and let it grow. On those days when everything seems to be going wrong, I often have trouble feeling that connection. It is at those times that I simply look into myself and the memory of that connection and let it lead me to the Divine Spark that exists within all of us. I let that memory reconnect me to Aten, and then feel the strength of that connection. It reminds me that I am never alone, and that something truly great exists. I do not simply mean Aten, I mean us as well. We are truly great beings, and all we need to do is wake up and realize who and what we are. It is time we matured past our childhood and looked forward to our next step in our growth, both personally and as a species. |

We are indeed all truly great beings, we all are spirit and have come from Aten. The problem is that most humans don't understand that - animals do - because humans are too easily led by greed and materialism, and hunger for power. Humans have made senseless rules and brainwash each other - and the next generation - into believing that they must believe what they get told, eg. that people in power (monarchs or presidents) are "better people " or "know better", that "humans are higher than animals", or the extremely disturbing view that "one race is better than another", or that "the poor are poor through their own fault". Very few people have the strength not to be influenced by such unreasonable, man-made rules, but think for themselves, and UNDERSTAND. By "understand" I mean just that feeling of a connection with Aten, and all other living beings. Everyone has the ability to understand. One just needs to listen, and look. Listen and look into yourself, but also around you. Then you will understand. |
